Meet the Team

  • Founder

I am driven by a desire to inspire and help others develop in the wine and cider making worlds. In 2008, I began Panacea Wine Consulting and have experience across many different business models, production size, and growth goals.

My education includes a B.S. in Biochemistry and a M.S. in Oenology from the University of Adelaide in South Australia. My experience includes; winemaking and viticulture work in the USA (+cider), Italy, Australia, and New Zealand, with companies producing and processing anywhere from 50 – 25,000 tons of fruit per year. I have helped design and expand production and packaging facilities, increase growing acreage, expand production and sales, train and educate staff, design and run sensory training sessions, design and run all aspects of vineyard, cellar, and custom crush operations, edit books, sit on review committees for the United States Association of Cider Makers and Virginia Wine Board.

I love being outside, growing things, learning new things, reading, cooking, and spending time with my family.
